And again there’s a great fuss at the Argonauts Agency! Pelius, Medea’s uncle and a famous collector, well-known throughout the region, was doing a total clean-up in his storeroom and accidentally dropped one of the boxes. Who would have thought that it would be Pandora’s Box? On the instant a meteor shower destroyed part of Pelias’ mansion and a merciless blizzard started raging over its roof.

Where to go for help? Medea and her friend Jason, one of the Argonauts, are ready to help the old man. Join them! First of all, they intend to get to the oracle and ask for his advice on their further steps. They want to know how to drive all troubles and misfortunes back into the box and get rid of them once and for all. Stock up on the resources you will need to complete your tasks and hit the road.

And the road ahead won’t be smooth. Fix dozens of destroyed bridges and clear the roads from rocks and blockages. Defeat the cyclops and hairy monsters. You can get not only worthy rewards for your successful activities, but also useful bonuses that will help you achieve your goals faster. Help our heroes undo the mistake of the clumsy collector. Having just come from playing Northern Tale 4, i found Argonauts Agency (2): Pandora's Box rather disappointing. Not enough to give it a negative review but not sure I would want to play it again. I found the story rather boring and the bonus levels lame. Being used to having building resources automatically added to inventory in NT4, returning to mad dashes to pick up resources was mind-numbing and hard on my wrist (carpal tunnel).

I usually prefer to level up all buildings possible when playing time management games (relaxed difficulty) but found with this one I was just leveling buildings enough to get the job done as quickly as possible mainly because there were so many levels that required buying one or more necessary resources from merchants. I spent 12:42 in NT4 with 50 levels (45 main & 5 bonus) compared to only 7:59 in AA2 with 60 levels (50 main & 10 bonus).

My recommendation is: try Northern Tale 4 rather than Argonauts Agency: Pandora's Box.

One fine morning, chaos broke out over the tranquil everyday life in the Argonaut agency. A well-known collector rushed up, with plenty of trouble in his luggage. There was a little problem with one of his artifacts, he could use some help. Pelias, the gatherer, had accidentally opened Pandora's box lying innocently in his storage. Now huge natural disasters raged around his house, Pelias himself was pursued by all misfortunes and strokes of fate that one could only imagine. Pandora's box had to be defused, preferably yesterday!

This is the promotional text for the game and the second part of a whole series of games. So far, 2 pieces have been published each year. There is no real change to the predecessor. As with all of these games, you must collect, build, and clear blocks. They have done this quite well. It's fun to scurry through one of the three levels of difficulty. The developer mainly uses the paths that you have to clear as game content, not so much sophisticated barricades. The story, which is based on an ancient tale, is well developed and funny. So, I can recommend the game. It's not that hard either, but stretched out a bit here and there to get to 60 levels. Let's see how this develops in the following games in this series. Recommended.
