Fiery Catacoms is a 2D platformer and adventure in which an old map led a treasure hunter to a cave, which at first glance was commonplace.

However, a sudden collapse and a stream of fire forced the treasure hunter to plunge deep into the catacombs dotted with fire traps, among which dust is collected from the treasures of an extinct tribe. Stay alive, collect treasures and find a way out — this is the plan of all treasure seekers.

To find a way out of the catacombs, the player will need logic, reaction and a good memory. You do not know what the next step will bring you, each next step may be a surprise. Be alert, then you will reach the exit!

Game doesn’t start If you cannot start the game using a shortcut on the desktop. Open the folder you selected when installing the game, by default it’s “C:\Program Files (x86)\Atarata Games\Game Name” OR right-click the “Game Name” shortcut on your desktop, then click Properties at the very bottom, and then click Open File Location. Find the “(Game Name).wrp.exe” file and start the game!

Fiery Catacombs is a very basic 2D retro pixel platformer where you control a guy with a hammer collecting treasure by running around a mine thing, jumping over fires and bashing blocks with your hammer.
This is a really badly implemented game. The game runs too fast, so to get around this you can actually set the game speed manually. Talk about sloppy. There's no working fullscreen mode, and there's no widescreen support, the game displays 4:3 pillarboxed, despite launching in 2019.
They chose to use obsolete retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. Resolution and controls are locked. These flaws push this game far below minimum acceptable standards for PC.
