New Yankee 10: Under the Genie's Thumb. Collector's Edition

The New Yankees John and Mary have finally decided to have a rest! But a mysterious lamp found on the beach moves the spouses, as well as the Wise Raven and Gremlin, to distant lands, straight to the Arab genie. But the trouble is the genie turned out to be a faulty one as he did want his wishes to be fulfilled. How come? Shouldn't it be the other way around?! And so that the company would not run away, the genie put them in magical shackles that would disappear only in a thousand and one year.

Now our heroes have not only to fulfill genie’s wishes, but also try to outsmart him as the genie collects powerful artifacts and is hell-bent on world domination. In order to throw the genie off guard, the New Yankees will have to work hard clearing paths, harvesting crops, restoring wells and even raiding caravans. Of course, workers will help them. Sir John will fight enemies, Gremlin the Inventor will destroy huge obstacles, the Wise Raven will bring different things from above, and Lady Mary will do her magic. And even the faithful dog Max will not be left out, as he can bark at crabs, goblins and other evil creatures. Scheherazade the Storyteller will be of great help to our heroes, diverting genie’s attention by means of her endless stories.

So we’ve got into a scrape… Come on, make your first wish. The sooner we start, the sooner we'll get back home!
