Set off on a mind-bending journey to complete picross grids around the world, learning the secrets of seven great civilizations as you go. To complete a picross grid, you must use the number clues above and to the left of the board to fill in squares on the grid.

As you advance through World Riddles: Secrets of the Ages, you'll visit Roman gladiators, Tibetan monks, the tombs of the Egyptian pharaohs, and the pyramids of the Aztecs. As you solve puzzles, you'll accumulate Civilization Points that allow you to restore a nation. Once you bring the people back to life, you'll receive part of a lost medallion and then move on to the next civilization. Gather all seven parts of the Medallion and become the Bearer of the Secrets of the Ages!

I love this game! I've played it through twice, and I can't get enough. I love the challenge. There are achievements to earn and restore points let you learn a little bit about the history of the civilizations you are playing. The only problem I can think of is that I'm no good at it until after my first cup of coffee soaks in. I prefer this to the other games in the series, only because the tiles are better.

Love it - have replayed it loads of times and still find it totally addictive. The others in the World Riddle Series are fun to play but this is streets ahead of them and other Mosaic games.
The levels become progressively more difficult and some of gold levels are really challenging. I really liked being able to restore the objects to the different civilisations and the graphics are lovely.
The bonus chapters are a great addition.
I can't understand why the developers haven't made more games like this.
If you haven't tried nonograms before - try this game. I can't recommend it highly enough
