Shuyan Saga is a graphic novel series where action scenes come alive in 3D combat gameplay.

Set in an ancient Chinese martial arts fantasy universe. You embark on a life-changing journey as Shuyan to become a powerful warrior and stop the evil Guer horde from destroying the world. The story revolves around the Five Kingdoms, all built on the foundations of Kung Fu. Every kingdom has unique values and cultures, which have originated from the nation’s Kung Fu system.

The days ahead will be dangerous, for all of us. Every decision you make affects the outcome of the narrative and characters. The saga will have you hooked wanting to see what happens next.

As far as the wuxia visual novels go, not bad. I have to admit that the controls in the fighting mode tend to be annoyingly cluncky from time to time. Drawing is nice, music is somewhat repetitive, but still beautiful and adds up to the atmospere. To sum up, buying it on sale won't be the worst way to spend several hours of your life.

Nice graphic novel with comic-like illustrations and a curious fighting system. Your typical Chinese lore, and kind of cliche kung fu story and characters, but that works fine. Music is pretty good and voice acting also. The battles are designed to mobile/tablets so they can be quite uncomfortable to play (The game uses only mouse and a bit of keyboard). Even when you get the hang of it and it starts to be enjoyable, there's plenty of stupid fails because of the poor port. Though overall, I did enjoyed it pretty much. So, I recommend as casual game (it has just three chapters of an hour each give or take)

Beautifully drawn, good voice acting and a nice albeit not very original story. Unfortunatley you can tell it was developed for tablets and therefore the controls are meh + the "game" is rather short (~3hrs). I still enjoyed it but wouldnt have payed full price for it. Download if you like interactive graphic novels and are into chinese lore.
