Unleash the power of the gods on a quest to defeat the lord of the underworld! Over time, mankind's faith in the Greek gods faded, allowing Hades to escape the kingdom of the dead and wreak havoc. As the demigod Hermes, you must slip on your winged sandals and lead a team of rescuers across a decimated land in pursuit of your enemy, saving the people you encounter and their homes as you go.

The servants of Hades will be waiting for you around every bend and turn in the road. To secure the help of Zeus, Ares, Artemis and more, you'll need to restore their demolished altars and make sacrifices in their name. Only then will you be able to use the unique skill each god grants you to defeat satyrs, a three-headed beast and more. You'll also be granted the ability to heal a poisoned land and restore the lives of the people that populate it.

Each thrilling level will challenge you to remove cleverly placed obstacles and figure out the quickest way to gather and produce the resources you need. The faster you succeed, the more stars and achievements you'll earn! For casual players who want to enjoy the captivating story, vibrant visuals and addictive gameplay, but have a relaxing experience, an untimed mode is available as well.

The electrifying power of Zeus is within your reach. Will you seize it and claim your rightful place among the legends?

If you like simplified resource management games, this one isn't too bad. Story is just typical Hermes doing things to save the world from Hades. I'd recommend it for the five hours I played.

Hermes: Rescue Mission is a casual, time management game. Recommended to: casual gamers, achievement hunters, kids.

Hermes was sent to Earth by Zeus to stop Hades and his servants from ruining the lives of the people. Along the way you’ll recruit the help of Ares, Artemis, Zeus, and more in your effort of rebuilding the land from Hades’s chaos.

The game is fairly easy, but there are some maps that may require additional plays to get a 3-star rating. The 3 star rating is not needed for all achievements, but it is required if you want to unlock all of the items in the Gods’ home. Play time is ~5-7 hours to complete the main campaign and get all achievements. As stated earlier if you care about 3 starring maps, you may spend ~7-9 hours due to needing to shave time off the same map from several playthroughs. The achievements may feel random as there is no progress as they unlock and some unlock later in the game when you have done the same thing 20 maps earlier. This is one of the most annoying things about the game experience. There is NO replayability on this game as there is no end game mechanics, no map metrics to try to beat, and no engrossing story to return to. While the fact that the game feels like a once and done kind of game; I do recommend it, (when at a sale price,) to anyone that likes casual games or is an achievement hunter.

I definitely enjoyed this game, although it was quite easy on the difficult setting. My only gripe was that I couldn't complete the game as the 'next' button was unresponsive on level 48. This also happened on level 12 (I think) but after closing the game and restarting, it levelled me up anyway...but I've played level 48 3 times and nada :(
