Join Hermes on his new epic adventure — Sibyls' Prophecy — filled with bizarre and fanciful creatures of legend.

According to the yellowed pages of an ancient prophecy, the Olympian gods are destined to someday lose their immortality. When foreboding signs suggesting the time has come begin to appear, the Greek god Hermes embarks on a quest to stop the prophecy and save himself and his fellow immortals.

Although Hermes is a clever and mischievous god, his fate actually rests in the hands of the player. As the unseen force in this fantastical world, the player must guide Hermes and his entourage as they battle an evil cult bent on claiming immortality for themselves, restore a devastated land and help the people who live there.

Each level involves a game of strategy and a race against time to produce resources, overcome obstacles and complete quests. But the player is not left without help. Bonuses abound and each god contributes a special ability to the cause.

Such as positive and good for eyes game! Pretty, but not too expensive, BUT I think, that this kinds of games needs some logical upgrades, becouse are each other are very similiar (Argonauts Agency, 12 Labours of Hercules, Gnomes Garden, Alicia Quartemain etc.) BUT despite it, I like them, becouse are so optimistic, relaxious for mind, simple, nice with easy, peace, chill.... For all ages ! There is good energy and moods.

Zeus and Hermes are sitting on a cloud chatting while doing a spot of fishing. When suddenly an iron feather comes floating down, Hermes cannot believe that it’s a coincidence! It’s the second sign they’ve seen today. Recalling a prophecy “Watch for when birds with iron feathers swoop down from above and a mute animal begins to speak.” However, Zeus laughs it off, saying it’s just an old story his parents told him so he’d be a good boy and behave. Apparently, the prophecy for tells of a time when all the gods will become mortal, it’s all nonsense! says Zeus.

Hermes then asks Zeus to explain how a sheep can talk, a shepherd had told him this morning that one of his sheep was talking but Hermes brushed it off as nonsense. Although now after seeing this iron feather Hermes believes that the prophecy is coming true. Not all of the prophecies foretold by the soothsayers, the Sibyls came true Zeus says. Hermes wants to go and find this shepherd and find out if any of his sheep have really started talking. If it’s true then surely the signs are pointing to troubles which lay ahead. So, you set off to find out if the gods can truly lose their immortality.

There are Fifty levels to complete with each level having a number of objectives to complete in order for you to move on to the next level. You begin at base, a tent somewhere on the level, extending out from the tent are pathways which lead around the map to various locations. Along the pathway are resources and obstacles which you need to collect, remove or build upon. To remove an obstacle or to build a bridge will require certain resources, these could be Food, Gold, Stone and Weapons. These are the four most used resources; you can gain others such as wood from merchants who might have various other items you might need.

Removing Columns requires that you have Thirty Food, Thirty Gold and One Worker but you will also receive Ten Stone in having it removed from the pathway. You gain other resources for removal of other obstacles. At various locations throughout the map there are Construction Sites you can use these to Plant a Grove (Food), Build a Bank (Gold), Build a Quarry (Stone) and Build a Forge (Weapons) for a regular supply of resources. Using the resources, you’ll be able to rebuild Temples and other places in which to call the gods. The gods can help you in many different aspects such as the defeating creatures like the Stygian Dogs or Stymphalian Birds.

Once you have completed all the objectives, you’ll gain One to Three Stars depending on how well you’ve done. You will also gain points which can be on the Acropolis, which is found on the world map. At the acropolis you can rebuild temples and shrines with the points you gain from each level. Rebuilding them will give you some bonus like Temple Repair will cost 20% less or your workers will work 10% faster.

In the settings you’ll find Music and Sound Volume Sliders, Tutorial, Full Screen and Cursor Tick Boxes for On or Off Options.

I like these types of game they are fun and relaxing to play and Hermes Sibyls Prophecy has been enjoyable to play. The story is good and the graphics are nice. I did have one problem which happened a couple times, I tried to build on a construction site but the list of options wouldn’t open so I was unable to continue and had to leave the game. I think this problem occurred after I found myself in a position where I didn’t have the resources needed so I restarted the level. It’s then that I noticed I couldn’t build on a construction site. This was the second time it happened I’m not sure if it was the same the first time it happened. A part from this minor hiccup I’ve not had any other problems.

Ein wunderbares Familienspiel! Es ist mit Abstand eines der besten Spiele seiner Art, Das Spiel sieht super aus, die Musik ist sehr gut gewählt, und das Gameplay wunderbar flüssig, und nicht anspruchslos. Im gegenteil, wenn ich mir jetzt 12 Aufgaben des Hercules so angucke, finde ich das Hermes: Sibyls Prophecy ein wenig besser ist. Es ist vielfältiger, das Micromanagment wird etwas mehr gefordert, und diverse Level haben einfach mehr Biss.

Man sollte vor der Ersten Aktion die den Timer startet die Karte genau angucken, und überlegen welchen weg man zuerst Frei macht um am schnellsten eine flüssige Produktion zu bekommen. Bei den 12 Aufgaben des Hercules war das nicht so wichtig, es sei denn man wollte an die Entwickler Rekorde ran.

Was mir noch sehr gut gefällt ist das Konzept mit Akropolis, das man neu Aufbauen muss, dies bietet einem Vorteile im Spiel. Die Arbeiter können dann zb schneller laufen, oder Ares fegt dadurch schneller Gegner von der Karte. Wenn man Akropolis nicht neu aufbaut, kriegt man später ziemlich Schwierigkeiten mit der Zeit.

Zu der Story muss man denke ich nichts großartiges sagen, die Story ist gut erzählt, und sehr Stimmig zum Level Design. Was ich richtig super finde ist das man mehrere Profile erstellen kann so das auch andere Familienmitglieder ihr eigenes Spiel spielen können. Jetzt habe ich mit meinem Profil die hälfte des Spiels durch, und jetzt kann meine Frau dann weiter spielen, denn sie ist ein großer Fan dieser Spiele. Unsere Kinder sind noch zu Jung um selber zu spielen aber die gucken heute schon begeistert zu und halten ausschau nach Versteckten Objekten und verraten sie dann.

Mein Fazit zu diesem Spiel: Eine klare Empfehlung, dieses Spiel ist wirklich was für Jung und alt, und muss sich nicht verstecken.

Eine alte Prophezeiung wird wahr und Zeus ist es egal. Hermes scheint echt angefressen deswegen. Aber ich muss doch wieder alles aufräumen?!
