Game too short, puzzles too simple, the 'unique' detective mode is more annoying than anything (not the idea itself, but having to go through an investigation just to reach the conclusion to look in the wardrobe or a locker that already stands out as it is - or worse, it's already clear that you must NOT look there but the game makes you look there anyway). Sometimes the game repeats what you already know for no reason. The story would have been more interesting if it wasn't so obvious from the get go. Not a fan of the drawing style, seems lower quality than the usual Artifex Mundi games.

The puzzles in this one are the stand out from the publisher's other hidden puzzle games. The Detective mode really didn't work for me. And the game is mostly a long chokepoint where you have one goal to work on at a time. But the variety of puzzles were challenging to figure out what to do with them, in a fun way, not just difficult.

Charming point and click puzzle game with nice artwork, the story is quite predictable though. I can recommend the series for someone who is looking for a light puzzle adventure. You can choose from 3 difficulty levels.

This is one of the best games I have played in a long time. When you first log in, you have a choice of three levels of play - basically easy, medium, and difficult levels as far as how long it takes for hints to reload and sparkly hints if it takes you a minute to find something. The scenes are beautiful and there are a number of locations to explore. The hidden objects part is a little different than most because there are one or two items per scene that you have to put together or find inside of something or do to produce what you're looking for. I found this clever and a fun way to change up the standard find the list. Sometimes you will come upon crime scenes, and it's a reverse hidden object kind of thing - the clues are covered up until you click on them, then the word appears and the crime scene is pieced together at the end. This is a really interesting game with a great plot line. I was a little bummed when it was over. I'm glad I took a chance on this game - it's too bad it had a 3-star rating by someone who hadn't even played it, because I really would have missed a fun story.

I enjoyed this game. It wasn't too long and the puzzles were simple and straightforward. I will say I enjoyed the previous one in this series more, however, because I'm not a big of the big bad monster in this one.
