Alawar proudly presents the Farm Frenzy Refreshed Game and offer you to try your hand at farming again. Your task is to restore a pretty rundown ranch and make it profitable. In order to do this, you will have to complete the levels breeding ducks, pigs, cows and even horses.

Animals eat grass and produce food. On a rainy day the grass grows by itself, on a sunny day the grass withers faster — and you have to quickly water it! In autumn the wind can carry away not only the fallen leaves, but also your harvest — and you have to quickly collect it! During the winter snowy weather your cattle and poultry can get frozen, so they need your care and warmth. Each animal gives some type of products that you can sell both in their natural or processed form. By the way, processed products are more expensive.

To accumulate necessary resources and complete the golden level, you will have to carefully plan everything and consider the level goals. Be on your guard all the time. Your plans will be foiled by angry bears falling from the sky. However, at some levels, this bear-fall looks like a blessing, especially at the very beginning, when you don’t have much money. You can catch these bears, sell them at a profit in the city and get some resources necessary for further development of your farm.

As someone who played "Farm frenzy 3" i bought this game. while i do like the additions like the farm i really miss the old music. Also i dont like the graphic that much. Still a good dame thou.

You’ve got yourself a humble homestead which you’ll have to turn into a thriving farm. The President of the Farmers Association, Scarlett welcomes you and is glad that you want to join their organisation. She’ll be on hand to help you grow and expand your farm to its full potential, allowing you to join the Farmers association. Scarlett will help you each time there’s something new to learn in running your farm. So, get your wellies on and let's go play around in the mud.

To begin with you’ll have to grow some grass on your plot of land, this is extremely important as the animals cannot survive without any grass. As the grass is eaten from your farm animals, you’ll have to replace it. To grow grass, you’ll need water which can be collected from the Water Pump, although it will run out after a few usages. You are able to refill the water but it will cost you some pennies each time you refill and you’ll have to click on the water pump in order for it to refill, it will take a few seconds to refill. So, you’ll have to make sure you have enough money to keep the watering the ground and grow the grass otherwise your animals will clear off.

There are four animals which you can collect produce from, Ducks, Pigs, Cows and Horses. Ducks produce Eggs, Pigs produce Bacon, Cows produce Milk and Horses produce smaller Horses. It will cost money to add new animals but adding more will bring in more produce quicker. This is great when needing to collect plenty of produce, although just remember the more mouths feeding on the grass the quicker it will disappear. You can also have a Cat and Dog; a Cat will help collect produce dropped from your animals, while the dog will help protect your animals from the pesky bears.

On each level you’ll have the field area where your animals will eat grass and drop their produce in the centre of the screen. There’s a Water Pump top centre and spreading out on each side are the machinery you’ll use to produce what’s needed. There is room for three machinery on each side however, they can be doubled up depending on what is required, it will cost some pennies to swap between the machinery. You will need to create items like bacon and eggs, flatbread, cheese, sour cream and pizzas to name a few. Some will require multiple ingredients before they can be produced. Once you have fulfilled the current order the level will end giving you a time and one to three stars depending on how fast you completed the level along with some diamonds.

In the bottom centre of the is your Storage, Scooter and Gyrocopter. Storage will allow you to store produce and those pesky bears ready for selling. Using the scooter will allow you to nip off to the market and sell your wares, you can even sell any bears you catch. The gyrocopter will fly off to collect other items such as tomatoes, cream, starter culture and items which you may need.

There are some bears which will appear on and then and will go after your animals, you can add a dog to help protect your animals but this won’t stop them. To stop the bears before they chase off your animals, you’ll need to slap them in a cage, once caged they can then be sold.

In the top left corner are the animals at your disposal and the cost of adding one to the field. Time Limit, Cash and Pause are in the top right corner, in the bottom right corner are the Goals for the current level. Bottom left corner is Scarlett while sandwiched between Scarlett and your Goals

After completing a level you’ll find yourself back at your homestead, you’ve got your house, water tower, tractor, cat and dog houses, vegetable plot, pig pen, stables, barn, gazebo and duck coop on your land but will require you to build them. These will cost you some money, stars and vegetables, you will also be able to upgrade each of them. Once built you’ll be able add animals and they’ll bring in some daily income but they will cost a few pennies for their daily upkeep.

With the diamonds you collect for completing a level you can upgrade your production machinery. This will allow you to increase the number of products produced at one time, or allow you to increase your warehouse, have more slots on your scooter or gyrocopter while also being faster etcetera.

There are four sections which have ninety levels spread across them, The Beginning (levels 1-20), Farm Restoration (21-40), The Farm Management Blues (41-65) and Invaluable Experience (66-90). After completing all ninety levels you will unlock another 20 Bonus Levels for you to complete.

In the settings you’ll find Music and Sound Volume Sliders, Show Tutorial, Full Screen and System Cursor Tick Boxes and that’s your lot.

Farm Frenzy: Refreshed is a fun and enjoyable game for all. There are plenty of levels to keep you on your toes and these levels can be quite challenging when competing against the time limit to score stars. This isn’t a bad thing though as I enjoy a challenge but if you want to get a heads up on what’s required for each level. You can check the Extras from the main menu screen where you’ll find Walkthrough, here you can find some information required for your current level. There is also Soundtrack and Wallpapers in extras for you to checkout.

I’d tell them to my dog but he’d herd them all.
I absolutely love that they remade farm frenzy, I absolutely loved this game as a kid and so I decided to try the refreshed and its great!
