Children's imagination knows no bounds! What a delightful game this is! Suitable for children to play, but adults will understand the serious theme behind it.
A little boy's younger sister becomes seriously ill and to cope, he escapes into a surreal world with her toy rabbit. Graphics are delightfully bright and cartoonish and music was lovely. The opening song is very moving and I sat listening to it again as the credits rolled.
There is quite a bit of pixel hunting and you hunt for items to get mechanisms going to advance the rabbit. Puzzles are very easy...the hardest was the stamp one. You meet some delightful characters. Be sure to touch everything to get great sound effects.
The downside is that it took me only 6 hrs to complete, so very expensive for such a short game. Be sure to download and play. I came across no glitches.

Utter Rubbish. Artifex Mundi tried to combine the mechanics of HOGs with the look and gameplay of 2D graphic adventures. They failed. My Brother Rabbit is nothing more than a depressing collectathon of random groups of objects. The Game itself looks good, not gonna lie, but it doesn't use the positive things there are about HOGs (many minie games, search games on very specific locations) and feels way too basic and childish for a good 2d Adventrue. Artifex Mundi tried and failed to get out of their sphere of HOG, which is understandable, they make hidden object games which are so amazingly good, but they don't seem to be able to grasp other genres.

Pros:
Interesting art style.
Perfectly playable.
Nice range of achievements.
Coherent story tugs at the heart.
Didn't hit any bugs.

Cons:
Story very simple.
No voice acting.
Puzzles are the same old puzzles that have been used a hundreds times before and they picked the more frustrating to play ones.
It becomes a bit of a click-fest looking for the hidden things.
You can't collect all of the hidden items you spot until you you hit the puzzle that needs them and that puzzle won't appear until you unlock areas of the map.

It's over-rated, 4/5.

If I were to sum up this experience in one word, it would be "quaint".
My Brother Rabbit offers an experience similar to the classic point-and-click adventure puzzles of our youths. It is structured different enough to where it can provide a rather refreshing take on the genre, or more frustrating depending on what type mindset you go into the game with. Many of the puzzles in the game will challenge to keep a linear mindset in a nonsensical world.
Keep in mind that this is a puzzle game, so don't expect a large and complex story
On that note, I believe that the narrative of the game is wonderfully presented. It subscribes to the philosophy of show, don't tell . There is minimal dialogue, with the brief excellent hand-drawn sequences crafting a story. The aesthetics are reminiscent of Wonderland, corresponding to the escapism of the young child in the game. It was almost as if I were reading a children's picture book in game form, if that makes any sense.
The game can be completed in its entirety within 3-4 hours, depending on how quickly you pick up on the nature of its puzzles. I often find myself coming back to this game every now and then, as I personally enjoyed this short wholesome tale.

Wow. I really enjoyed this game, and I didn’t expect to! Normally I don’t like hidden object games or puzzles. But, the puzzles in My Brother Rabbit were easy enough that I didn’t have to google many solutions (except for four), but still the puzzles were difficult enough to give me a feeling of satisfaction when I broke through. The artwork was unique and perfectly suited to a search game – the more I looked at each screen, the more details and quirks that I found. I also enjoyed the ‘real-world’ driver (curing the sickness of a sister) behind the fantasy-world minigames and imagery, too. Well done, Artifex Mundi developers!

A great combination of puzzles to test your logic, memory, numerical and resourceful skills. A perfect level of difficulty that allows the player to progress while still presenting a challenge. Cute story line that will have you wanting to play to the end!

I don't remember how I became aware of this game, but as someone who hasn't played hidden object games except on airplanes I thought this was an enjoyable diversion. Nothing was very hard, but it wasn't insultingly easy and it kept me interested while playing through the whole thing. I thought there was a good mix of puzzles and finding objects. The story didn't really resonate with me (I got the feeling that I was supposed to feel some emotion during cutscenes, but it didn't really work for me), but I _loved_ the art and the creativity. Every new place that I unlocked was a treat; the environment and character design has a sort of European sensibility that I very much enjoyed. I can't compare this to other hidden object games, but in terms of puzzle games it kind of reminded me of Machinarium or Samorost. If you like games like that and are in the mood for something short and light I would recommend giving My Brother Rabbit a try.
