Once upon a time there was a King, a great and powerful ruler over a vast empire… It was a rich country, where people lived happily in peace… But not all subjects were loyal to the King.
Lord Zimund was not pleased with success of his cousin and constantly plotted with plans to take over the throne. When the Queen gave birth to her first child, Lord Zimund realized that this could be the end of his hopes. So one day he and his henchmen snuck into the Royal Castle, seized control over it and killed the King. At the very last moment, the Knight Roderick, captain of the Royal Guards, grabbed the baby and fled to safety. The child found a new home in the Knight's residence.
Almost 18 years had since passed. Lord Zimund was now ruler of the Kingdom, but he fails at keeping it together. The Kingdom is falling apart and the separated countries are easy prey for raiders and barbarians alike. Most of the once thriving Kingdom is now pillaged and in ruins.
But times have changed. The child with royal blood has grown up and it is this child who has the potential to save the Kingdom, rebuild villages and towns and restore peace and prosperity…
