The object is get your ball in a hole, but on the way, collect all three gems. There are various obstacles to deal with. It was fun. The ball's aiming device works like the launching mechanism in video pinball, where you pull back with the mouse and then release. But here, you have to aim while pulling back (i.e., holding down the left mouse key and dragging).

loved the different graphics and different levels. it ended too quick! some are easy, other take a bit more time. a nice change from the other kinds of games that are out there.

If you settle for getting all three blue balls using your maximum three shots, then the game plays fairly simply. Hitting all the blues in two shots takes some practice. The real challenge is to shoot an ace (hit all three blues and then land in the hole). Expect a degree of frustration in trying for aces. But when you hit the the cue ball at just the right speed in the right direction, the excitement is worth the effort. The designers showed great creativity in putting elbow pipes, fans, bombs, pits, and icebergs in just the right spot to drive users to keep coming back for more. I believe the possibility exists for an ace on each hole in every level. And I experienced more than a few "WOWs" at what was required in that first shot to get an ace.
One major frustration (thus a 4-star rating) was using the mouse to QUICKLY aim and shoot, so needed in getting some of the advanced aces. A keyboard alternative to aiming/shooting may have been helpful. Quite addictive.

Extremely fun and addicting. Well-made and responsive. My 6 year old daughter loves it as well as I do and I'm 33. I would recommend this game for all ages, young and old, and I'm impressed with how many levels there are and how many different ways they can make the game interesting. The puzzles range from easy to difficult depending on how high a score you want to get. A+ 5/5 stars would take out for a fancy dinner

I had misread the title "Slingshot" for "Singleshot"... Anyway, there's a need to succeed a single shot for the achievements. Therefore, most of players would re-play same level again and again, so it would've been better if there were a shortcut key for retry the level.
